HPQA is a motorized laboratory stand for advanced viscosity and consistency measurements of materials such as gel, paste, cream, putty, gelatin, and wax.
When used in conjunction with a Brookfield viscometer and a T-bar spindle, the stand moves the instrument slowly up and down while the spindle rotates through the sample in a spiral path. This ensures measurement in fresh material and minimizes the risk of channel formation and separation. Particularly suitable for thixotropic and non-flowing materials.
HPQA also features a motorized Quick Action function with a joystick and touchscreen, making it easy to perform standard measurements with traditional spindles. The user can program measurement positions and automatically return the stand to the home position with a single press.
